The biggest recent news was of course the introduction of the Apple Watch Series 2, which, with its new OS, both broadens the scope of possible applications for the watch and gives it an ability to focus more specifically on fitness and fitness related apps. The idea of making a watch that doesn’t try to be everything to everyone, but instead fills a certain purpose and appeals strongly to a certain audience, seems to be one we’ll see more of, and this is the direction in which Casio seems to be going too.
